Transiting Uranus retrograde, in the 1st House, was 23 minutes from Gabon’s Ascendant degree. The energy of the coup was supported by prog. Mars opposed natal and prog. Saturn, ruler of the 9th and co-ruler of the 10th House. All state institutions come under Saturn and they were all “dissolved.” Transiting Uranus’ in wanning square to natal Uranus, ruler of the presidential 10th House is the third contribution to the military takeover of the government.

The Ascendant at the time of the coup (0618) was 5 VI 21 just 7 minutes from Gabon’s natal Pluto. The prog. Moon at the midpoint, Moon=Neptune/Pluto and Moon=Uranus/Asc. showed a sudden shift of direction for the people (Moon) of Gabon.
Mining projects in Gabon are underway as well as an increasing focus on electric cars. Most African countries that achieved independence in 1960, have Uranus somewhere in mid-Leo. Now these countries are experiencing the wanning square of transiting Uranus to natal Uranus. Most of these countries have natal Uranus in Leo, in the 4th House (land, mining and natural resources.)
On Monday 17 July transiting Uranus conjoins Gabon’s natal Ascendant. Uranus is known as The Awakener to higher states of being. A revolution in consciousness is certain, as Uranus passed through the 12th House of the collective Gabonese unconscious. Its appearance on the Ascendant will be monumental.
