Guinea-Bissau’ Astrology 2024

The coup that was attempted on 30 November 2023 showed clear and very tense currents. Involved were the 10th and 4th House rulers. There are two key contacts pertaining to this:

a.  Guinea-Bissau’s progressed Sun, the contact point for the head of state. It received the disrupting rays of transiting Uranus. The opposition occurred between the 1st House progressed Sun and the 7th House transit of Uranus retrograde. Uranus tends to show up in coup charts as a player in the event.

b. The Sun is the ruler of the 10th House of the president, executive branch and the government in general.

 Points-of-Crisis in March-April 2024

The coming again of transiting Uranus to Guinea’s progressed Sun may coincide with other disruptions in the government. Notably around the last week of March and especially around 14 April.

Unprecedented times. It will be helpful to send Light into Guinea-Bissau’s capital, Madina do Boé. This may assist the country in resolving those forces on the inner side of life. The causes are causative factors responsible for the appearance of conflict.

Transiting Pluto applies to within a 1 degree orb of a trine the country’s natal Sun, ruler of the 10th House. This occurs on Sunday, 27 January. Pluto also comes within 1 degree to natal Jupiter, on Tuesday, 5 March. The law of the land is in question and a possible repositioning of international relations with Guinea Bissau.

Some History

A decree was released into the ever-present, fertile, ethers. It occurred somewhere south of Banjul in a rain forest. It was a declaration of “an independent state of Guinea Bissau” by a guerrilla army under Luis de Almeida Cabral in Guinea-Bissau’s Madina do Boé.

On Monday, 24 September 1973, at 8:55 am, at Boé, the People’s Assembly of the African Party for the Independence of Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde Islands (PAIGC) set in motion the forces of a Unilateral Declaration of Independence (UDI) of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau (RGB) (New York Amsterdam News, page 3.)

The same time was mentioned in a book by author Carlos Lopes.

Carlos Lopes, Guinea-Bissau, From Liberation Struggle to Independent Statehood (Westview Press, Boulder, CO, 1987, p. 67).

Friday, 14 November 1980.

Cabral’s Prime Minister João Bernardo Vieira overthrew his boss’ regime and set up a Revolutionary Council. One factor that played a role in this move was an amendment to the constitution (Saturn) just four days earlier that increased the executive powers of the president.

Transiting Saturn was 2º 6 minutes past a waxing square to its natal place. And just 39 minutes from an exact sextile to the P Moon, ruler of the 10th House. Transiting Jupiter (increase) was applying to an exact square with natal Saturn by 1 deg. It was 2º 52 minutes from an exact conjunction with T Saturn. This was the beginning of a new Jupiter/Saturn cycle. Both T Pluto and P Uranus were sextile the P MC.
