The National Assembly passed a finance bill, Wednesday 21 June. President William Ruto signed the Finance Bill 2023 into law on the 29th. Gasoline prices will rise from 8 to 16%. The prog. Moon in the 8th House defines what Budget Statement 2023-2024 calls “Economic Transformation.” Gasoline comes under Neptune. In transit in the 7th is prog. Mars. This planet rules most types of engines that run on fossil fuel (Neptune).
I will outline several other connections to the new bill:
The prog. Sun (energy) squares prog. Neptune (gasoline). It will remain in orb of the square for two years (end of 2025).
The prog. Moon (National Assembly) square prog. MC. (The prog. Moon rules the 11th House (assembly) and the people who now require more resources, in order to fund the government’s proposed financial plan.
Saturn (laws) sextiles the prog. Moon (National Assembly) in the 8th. The vote was apparently contentious but most members approved it.
The transiting Sun (president) was in the 10th House. This is the house charged with enforcing laws. It sextiled the prog. Moon when the bill was ratified. These last two easy aspects to the Moon imply that raising gas prices and taxes, are benefiting the entire country.
